“A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.” ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupére

What will a website do for your business?
Are you wondering if a website is really all that necessary for building your business? I think statistics will help you with that question. Statistics say that having a web presence is invaluable, and critical, to the success of your business.
Ponder this! Something like 30% of consumers will not even consider a business unless it has a website — and over 90% go online to find and research businesses. How will they find your’s if you don’t have one?
I hear people say that their business is too small and that they don’t have the budget for a website. People are almost always concerned about the cost and whether or not a website is worth it for them. So some business owners are thinking of choosing one of the DIY platforms, such as Wix or Squarespace, etc, and then do it themselves…Hmmm.
Here’s my response to that kind of thinking. Building and designing a website is NOT the same as marketing a business. The DIY platforms can help design an attractive site, but they can’t help you make design decisions and marketing decisions that will best promote your particular business. That’s where an experienced and well-trained web designer comes into play.
Designers know about SEO optimization, file compression, responsive design, keywords, photo editing, cascading style sheets, and how to automate your website with social media. In short, web professionals understand and know more than just how to design. That’s a lot of what you’re paying for — the know-how.
If you consider a business as an investment on which the returns will come later, you will feel a lot better about the initial investment. Even if your business is small with zero budget, you can, at the very least, get a basic website that you can improve upon later when you have a better cash flow. So — why not have a website? 🙂
My experience and training are best suited for certain audiences. Take a look! Do you see yours?

These lists are not exhaustive, by any means. They are meant to just give you a better idea of who I am and what my skill sets are.
More About Who I Am
If you desire not only a functional, easily navigable website but also one that is stylish and aesthetically attractive and pleasing, then you’re at the right place.
I have 10 years of experience in designing for the internet. My specialty is in adding color, style, and aesthetics to websites, landing pages, and blogs. I want your site to attract attention — to have viewers stop and look. If you are lacking an online presence for your small service business or a non-profit, my website design skills can build for you an ‘online brochure’ that attracts clients for your business.
I may not follow the latest trends in web designs — or I may; it just depends. Following the herd is not my goal, nor is designing a website that looks like everyone else’s. I seek to design around your content, providing a site that meets your business goals and sets you apart. Simply put, my area of expertise is in creating a colorful, aesthetic website that stands out from the crowd.
I call myself The Aesthetic 美 Web Designer for all the above reasons. My motto is “practical and pretty.” I truly believe that it’s the aesthetics that are going to make your website pop. And frankly, that’s what I enjoy doing for my clients. Combined with my website marketing know-how, maybe I’m the web designer you’ve been looking for. 🙂
